We are looking for a mid-level iOS developer. You will be working to build a next-generation social media app. We are a small team, you will work closely with the CTO, Product Owner, QA, and UX/UI to execute the vision of the company.

We ask you have the following:

Candidates will have at least 2 years of native mobile app development in Swift, using UIKit or SwiftUI. Must have worked on at least 1 recognised mobile app, which is available to download on the App Store.

– Confident in Swift
– Understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
– Proficient understanding source control & git flow
– Experience of the full mobile development life cycle, iOS deployment and release
– Knowledge of clean code, Solid principles, DI & testing
– Excellent knowledge of architecture & design patters such as MVVM
– Understanding of how to securely store and transmit sensitive data
– Reducing complexity without sacrificing quality, KISS
– A keen eye for detail when implementing user interface designs
– Experience with REST APIs, integration of web services, cloud messaging, analytics, etc

Additionally we would like to see:

– You class yourself as a tech innovator and the idea of shaping products and suggesting new technologies really appeals
– A strong interest in social media platforms and their technical usability
– You follow technology trends closely and your enthusiasm for innovation shines out
– An interest in the creative process and making beautiful products
– Enthusiastic, with excellent problem-solving abilities
– Deep insight of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
– The ability to mentor others and offer coaching to junior staff

Really bowl us over if you can:

– Worked with SwiftUI in a production App
– Experience building CI pipelines, test automation, fastlane, etc
– You have examples of your work on Github or elsewhere
– You can point towards apps you have worked on that have won awards
– You have worked in a social media company already
– You have designed and released your own solutions from the ground-up including creating mockup screen designs
